Seminar Highlights: The Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center presents "Get Listed Locally". See how you can claim your online listing through the multiple online search engine sites. Get Listed allows businesses to claim their business and list their business for free. Come see how your business can have a web presence. The Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center Presents "Facebook ABCs for Business". Basic course to help small business owners evaluate how Facebook and other social media can help their marketing efforts. Topics will include: What is Facebook? How do Facebook and other social media help a business? Is it right for my business? How do I set up a Facebook page for my business? Attendees will be able to develop a sample Facebook page for their business using a step-by-step guide. Attendees should have basic computer skills but workshop is definitely for novices. The ASBTDC is able to present this seminar at no cost to Arkansas small business owners due to a joint partnership with Connect Arkansas, a private, nonprofit corporation dedicated to increasing high-speed internet and adoption throughout Arkansas. Connect Arkansas is a project of The Arkansas Capital Corporation Group (ACCG). Within the partnership, participant information may be shared with ACCG. During this event you may be photographed and recorded for non-commercial, non-profit, educational purposes.

Come sit down with the ASBTDC's laptop lab and design a free website using Weebly. You'll be taken step-by-step through creating a free account and creating an attractive, functional, five page website. All participants receive a free 20-page workbook with detailed instructions.
